LITFULO\u2122 is FDA-approved for adults and children 12 years and older with severe alopecia areata. LITFULO\u2122, manufactured by Pfizer Inc., is available only with a prescription.<\/p>\n<p>The National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) supports research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for alopecia areata, supports those with the disease, and educates the public about alopecia areata. Alopecia areata is a common autoimmune disease that affects nearly 7 million Americans and results in total or partial hair loss on the scalp and body.
